How youll contribute

  • Provide strategic leadership and oversight of clinical operations across multiple inpatient behavioral health hospitals within the division.
  • Develop implement and evaluate clinical programs and protocols that align with evidence-based practices and support optimal patient outcomes.
  • Ensure adherence to all federal state and accreditation standards (e.g. The Joint Commission CMS state licensing boards).
  • Lead efforts in clinical quality improvement patient safety initiatives and performance measurement across the division.
  • Oversee the recruitment development and performance management of clinical leadership teams.
  • Collaborate with corporate leadership medical staff and operational leaders to develop and implement strategies that support organizational goals and service line growth.
  • Monitor key clinical performance indicators patient satisfaction metrics and outcomes data to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure consistency in clinical care delivery documentation standards and treatment planning across all facilities.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and advocate for behavioral health care innovations evidence-based treatments and emerging trends in psychiatric and substance use care.
  • Promote a culture of clinical excellence accountability collaboration and ethical practice within all facilities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What were looking for

Education:

  • Masters degree in Social Work Counseling or a related field required.

License/Certification:

  • Master-level social work or counselor license in state of residence preferred. Professional experience in lieu of licensure will be considered.

Experience:

  • 5 years in clinical operations or healthcare administration with a proven track record in behavioral health or similar healthcare settings and multi-facility management experience.

Skills:

  • Deep knowledge of clinical best practices in behavioral health including patient safety quality improvement and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong leadership skills with a history of developing high-performing teams in a healthcare setting.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse clinical and administrative teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience using data to guide clinical and operational decisions.
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations including those specific to behavioral health and mental health services.

Additional Requirements

  • Willingness to travel regularly to support clinical operations across facilities to include on-site support during critical operational or clinical events.
  • Commitment to advancing ethical high-quality and patient-centered care in behavioral health.
