The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee College of Health Professions and Sciences (CHPS) invites applications for a full-time Recruitment Coordinator Nursing Programs position. Applicants must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and relate well to a broad audience working toward a goal of attracting admitting and enrolling in a talented diverse student body. Superb organizational skills the ability to manage multiple responsibilities excellent follow-through ability to work with a team and independently and an aptitude for detail-oriented tasks are essential. Priority will be given to candidates who have experience in student recruitment. Some evening and weekend travel/work required.
The primary function of the Recruitment Coordinator Nursing Programs is to co-lead the management communication facilitation and evaluation of recruitment activities for undergraduate and graduate nursing programs. The Recruitment Coordinator provides leadership in student recruitment growth and quality improvement for recruitment activities. The Recruitment Coordinator will maintain thorough knowledge of their assigned academic health programs.
Estimated percentage of time: 90% recruitment and outreach; 10% administration.
Work will be performed primarily on the UW-Milwaukee campus. Hybrid work options (minimum of 3 business days on campus each week) may be available with specifics regarding work location requirements discussed during the interview process.
This is a full-time position. The target hiring range is $50000-$55000 per year. Final salary offers contingent upon skills knowledge and abilities as demonstrated throughout the selection process.
Bachelors degree from an accredited institution (degree must be granted by date of hire).
Recruitment or sales experience.
Evidence of excellent written communication skills and attention to detail (based on evaluation of submitted application materials).
Experience organizing and facilitating individual and group presentations.
Masters degree.
Experience recruiting students within a higher education setting.
Experience working with Microsoft Office suite and CRM software (such as Slate Hobsons Radius Banner etc.).
