This Position reports to:
R&D Department/Local Unit LeadYou will work closely with R&D development teams NA lab teams and external clients to provide testing and verification of low voltage and medium voltage electrical distribution will also be responsible for testing with equipment includes switchgear motor control centers outdoor breakers reclosers and cutouts.
The work model for the role is: Onsite #LI - Onsite
You will be mainly accountable for:
Support R&D teams to develop type test strategies and detail test plans for new products.
Lead and manages complex testing projects to validate new designs and modifications in a collaborative team environment.
Motivate and coordinate internal and/or external resources to accomplish tasks and milestones required to complete testing projects.
Ensure retention of ISO 17025 and UL CTDP accreditations and grow the scope of accreditation to support client demand.
Build develop and maintain trust-based relationships with internal (other R&D units product management operations business management) and external (customers standardization bodies universities etc.) contacts.
Job Qualifications:
Bachelors degree; electrical/mechanical engineering preferred
5 years electrical engineering experience
Working knowledge of IEEE standards UL standards and ISO 17025 standard.
Experienced in planning leading and executing technical projects.
Demonstrated presentation/influence skills
Strong interpersonal skills required to achieve cooperation and reach agreement with internal and external customers and suppliers.
