Job Description
Salary/Position Classification
- $14.00 Hourly Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
- 10-15 hours per week
- 100% Remote Work Availability: No
- Hybrid Work Availability: No
Purpose of Position
This is a part-time non-benefitted position. Only UND Undergrad students are eligible to be hired into this position. Unsolicited applications to this position will NOT be considered.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Updating and maintaining existing software projects.
- Implementing new software functionality according to specifications.
- Testing and troubleshooting software functionality and documenting software updates.
Minimum Requirements
- Majoring or minoring in Computer Science Data Science or Information Systems.
- Programming experience in any language
- Enrolled in a minimum of 1 credit for the employed academic semester and Accepted Federal Work Study award.
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with client-side web development such as HTML CSS JavaScript and JQuery
- Experience technology (VB/C#)
- Experience in database development including designing and creating database tables functions and stored procedures. (MS SQL Server preferred)
- Experience with version control such as Git
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Experience working as part of a team
