Job Purpose
The Transitional/Rehabilitative RN Shift Supervisor is the first line supervisor on a nursing unit that practices and directs patient care activities during assigned shift. This position provides skilled nursing care in accordance with Nurse Practice Act and requires staff accountability for compliance with regulatory and professional standards for patient care units and staff.

Supervises nursing staff and the daily duties to perform direct patient care activities. An active member within interdisciplinary team to coordinate plan of care for patients: patient placement in unit to meet childs need oversee updates to nursing care plan for patient participate in Patient Care Conferences & Team Meetings as scheduled serve as liaison/contact person for nursing and other departments to assure care needs for the patient are met.

Performs skilled nursing care in accordance with Nurse Practice Act. Participate in departmental Planning & Improvement efforts: serve on department &/or hospital committees complete medication administration and employee attendance audits analyze data regularly & recommend process improvements.

Performs administrative duties such as recordkeeping multi-disciplinary communication scheduling and other necessary tasks to ensure daily operations are complete

Coach nursing staff with clinical instructions advice or guidance when needed or required

Work Schedule
Offer 12-hour shifts - (6:30 7:00 a.m.)with rotatingweekends.
Qualifications
Education:
Associates degree required Bachelors Degree preferred in Nursing. Ability to speak understand read and write English required.
Experience:
3 years as RN Staff required
License/Certification/Credential:
Registration and current RN license in Oklahoma. CPR and PALS Certification.
