We are seeking a highly organized energetic and customer-focused Gift Shop Coordinator.This position plays a key role in creating a welcoming retail environment ensuring smooth operations and fostering a positive experience for residents visitors and ideal candidate will be a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced people-centered environment and has a knack for merchandising volunteer coordination and light food service responsibilities

Onsite Part-Time
Hours:
Monday: 8:30am-3:30pm
Tuesday: 1:00pm-4:00pm
Wednesday: 11:00am-4:00pm
Thursday: 8:30am-1:30pm

Education Requirements:
  • High school diploma
Essential Functions of the Job:
  • Oversee daily gift shop operations including ordering inventory management (using FIFO) food preparation merchandising and equipment maintenance.

  • Recruit train schedule and supervise volunteers ensuring adequate staffing and adherence to safety sanitation and service standards.

  • Coordinate sales and promotional activities including designing displays and preparing advertising materials to drive customer engagement.

  • Manage financial responsibilities such as cash handling reconciling sales maintaining resident accounts and adhering to budget guidelines.

  • Oversee mail services ensuring timely processing and delivery of incoming and outgoing mail in compliance with state regulations.
