Corporate Tax Accountant Bath (Full or Part Time)

Hatched Talent Solutions are proud to be the recruitment partner for a long-established family-run accountancy practice based in Odd Down Bath. With over 40 years of experience supporting clients across the Bath and Bristol area this small but dedicated team is offering a rare opportunity for a Corporate Tax Accountant to join their close-knit firm.
The role involves a blend of corporate tax responsibilities and accounts preparation for limited companies offering you the chance to manage a diverse portfolio of clients build lasting relationships and take real ownership of your work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit company accounts corporation tax returns and tax computations
- Conduct company secretarial work and compliance including:
- Company incorporations with Companies House
- Submission of CS01 DS01 CT61 and ATED returns
- Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns
- Liaise with HMRC and other relevant authorities
- Confidently use platforms such as QuickBooks Xero and Hubdoc
Skills & Experience:
- ATT or AAT qualified or equivalent experience
- Minimum 23 years of corporate tax and general accountancy experience
- Solid knowledge of UK tax legislation and compliance requirements
- Comfortable managing multiple client accounts and deadlines
