Reporting directly to the Cyber Security Program Director the Cyber Security Change Manager will be responsible for leading the implementation and assurance of fit-for-purpose change strategies across multiple projects. This role ensures consistent high-quality delivery of change and communication activities that engage stakeholders build capability and embed secure practices.
You will contribute to cyber program success by supporting business readiness overseeing communication and engagement planning and mentoring a team of project-level Change Managers. You will also collaborate with Communications Governance and Clinical and Corporate stakeholders to deliver change that sticks.
This is a 12-Month Full Time Fixed Term position based in our Melbourne Group Office on a hybrid working arrangement 3 days a week in office and 2 days working from home.
Key responsibilities of the role:
LEADERSHIP AND ACCOUNTABILITY
Coordinate and lead cyber program-level change and communications delivery.
Represent Cyber Change Management in project program and governance forums.
Ensure delivery of consistent strategic and well-governed change practices.
PEOPLE LEADERSHIP AND DEVELOPMENT
Mentor and support change professionals across the program team.
Promote a culture of collaboration improvement and accountability.
Share best practice approaches to change across the program.
STRATEGY AND EXECUTION
Uplift and embed change frameworks aligned with SVHAs National Communications methodology.
Lead the review and development of Change and Communication Plans Stakeholder Registers and Engagement Strategies.
STAKEHOLDER AND RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT
Collaborate with Cyber Security Communications D&T and operational teams to align messaging and timing.
Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders including vendors and delivery partners.
GOVERNANCE RISK AND COMPLIANCE
Track and report on change readiness risks and issues at a program level.
Ensure conformance to SVHAs governance compliance and reporting standards.
OPERATIONS AND DELIVERY
Develop and maintain program-level change metrics and reporting dashboards.
Monitor delivery across the program to avoid duplication overload or misaligned communication.
Ensure change activities are embedded into project schedules governance forums and closure documentation.
INNOVATION RESEARCH AND KNOWLEDGE
Continuously improve the cyber change practice and introduce new approaches to stakeholder engagement and communication.
Champion knowledge sharing and standardisation across the change community of practice.
Things that work for us:
10 years in Change Management with at least 7 years focused on Cyber Security programs.
Professional certification in Change Management (e.g. Prosci ADKAR) and experience applying change frameworks in large complex organisations.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience preparing reports plans and briefings for executives.
Proven experience mentoring change professionals and uplifting organisational change capability.
Experience in a healthcare or critical infrastructure environment is desirable.
