Candidates will work with a modern tech stack on a Software as a Service (SaaS)cloudplatform that serves users in over 49 countries. The core platform consists of systems housed in a large-scale environment responsible for processing billions of tasks every day. The candidate should have strong leadership ability and bring a passion forsoftware engineeringto help shape the direction of the team. What Youll Work On
- Develop and improve our existingReact health care platforms.
- Design and implement services features and components utilizingReact
- Participate in Go development for backend.
- Developing high-volumelow-latencyservices for a global health care platform
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to develop and integrate withAPIsthat empower users to share and utilize their medical data in partner systems.
- Design and implement highly maintainable unit testable code.
- Collaborate directly with InfoSec teams to design and implement secure solutions.
- Collaborate with both internal and external team members to shape and defineAPIcontracts.
- Provide new ideas and insight in collaboration with thedata servicesteam.
- Ensure performance uptime and scale maintaining high standards of code quality and thoughtful design.
- Contribute to significant architectural and operational decisions in collaboration with the Architecture team.
- Implement systemic changes to align existing systems with current architectural goals.
- Create diagrams flowcharts and models that illustrate the internal design and workflow of solution components.
- Collaborate as an engaged member of anAgileteam focused on realizing features through development test and delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or relatedengineering discipline
- 6 years in software developmentexperience in React JavascriptHTMLCSSand JSX.
- Notions in backend developmentexperience inGo preferred or other programming languages.
- Highly motivated to learn newsoftware developmentlanguages to meet goals and objectives.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and high attention to detail
- Experience conducting effective and collaborative code reviews with colleagues.
- Practical experience and understanding of working with and developingRESTful APIsandmicroservices.
- Experience contributing to a scalable architecture/design of existing and new systems that are highly available and easy to maintain and monitor.
- Understands Object Oriented Programming and design and building modular unit testable code.
- Experience designing implementing and maintaining highly complex asynchronous messaging and backend processing jobs.
- Experience withGit BitbucketJiraConfluence
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with multilanguage support internationalization and/or content management systems.
- Deep backend understanding and experience inReact.
- Experience in Go development
- Experience working with both relational and documented oriented datastores such asSQL Server Postgres orMySql.
- Experience with data visualization in D3
- Understanding and familiarity with Test Driven Development (TDD)
- Practical knowledge ofLinux.
- Understanding the concepts of Docker Containers and container orchestration services such as Docker SwarmECS andKubernetes.
- Experience with GrafanaKibana Segment Sentry feature flagging and/or Mixpanel.
- Experience with open-sourcesoftware development current/emerging trends andcanmake recommendations to help the organization innovate.
