Location: Calgary AB

The Opportunity
Mawer Investment Management is seeking a motivated student to join the Business Technology team for the fall co-op term. This is your chance to work in a collaborative fast-paced environment where your ideas matter and your code powers real business solutions.
Role Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Products team to design develop test and deploy software solutions
- Assist in building and maintaining internal tools web applications and data pipelines using programming languages and frameworks
- Participate in code reviews contribute to technical discussions and follow best practices for software development and documentation
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Troubleshoot debug and resolve software defects and issues as they arise
- Write clear maintainable code and contribute to improving the teams development processes
- Support the team in delivering high-quality products on schedule with a focus on reliability security and user experience
Desired Qualifications
- Enrolled in a Computer Science Degree; successful completion of 3rd year of program
- Previous co-op experience in web development; preference for full-stack
- Experience with Vue 3 NestJS Prisma ORM and PostgreSQL an asset
