POSITION

The Senior Sales Manager will be a strategic results-driven professional focused on increasing revenue and market share for Odyssey Hotel Groups portfolio within the designated Stockholm Hotel. The role involves developing and implementing proactive sales strategies cultivating strong client relationships and identifying new market opportunities. This is a key position in supporting the companys ambitious growth plans in Stockholm.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sales Strategy Development: Create and execute targeted sales plans that align with regional and national goals. Focus areas include group business Corporate accounts MICE and Leisure opportunities.

  • Portfolio Representation: Promote and sell multiple branded properties across the Odyssey portfolio within your region positioning each hotels unique strengths to prospective clients.

  • Market & Competitor Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to monitor trends identify opportunities and stay ahead of competition. Use insights to refine sales approaches and strategy.

  • Client Acquisition & Management: Identify qualify and convert new business opportunities while nurturing existing relationships with corporate clients travel agencies DMCs and event organizers.

  • Sales Activities: Generate leads conduct site inspections prepare tailored proposals and negotiate contracts to secure bookings and long-term agreements.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with hotel general managers revenue marketing and operational teams to ensure aligned efforts and seamless client experience.

  • Reporting & KPIs: Track performance through Salesforce and other tools report on KPIs regularly and adjust tactics to consistently meet and exceed targets.

  • Brand Representation: Act as an ambassador for Odyssey Hotel Group at trade shows industry events and networking functions to expand brand visibility and partnerships.

Job requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of B2B proactive sales experience in hospitality preferably within internationally branded hotels or a multi-property sales role.

  • Education: Degree or completed vocational training in hospitality business or a related field.

  • Skills:

    • Strong sales and negotiation capabilities

    • Familiarity with key accounts RFPs and revenue-driven decision-making

    • Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English

    • Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Personal Attributes:

    • Self-motivated and target-oriented

    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

    • Comfortable working independently and managing a diverse portfolio

    • Passion for delivering excellent customer service and growing business
