You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailWere seeking someone to join our team as a Business Analyst in Legal and Compliance to work within Privacy NFR supporting the Global lead and will be focused on assisting with the management of the privacy program tools and/or processes that underpin our program.

Legal and Compliance Division Overview:
The professionals in the Legal and Compliance Division LCD provide a wide range of services to our business units. LCD is made up of the Legal Regulatory Relations and Non-Financial Risk departments which preserve the firms invaluable reputation for integrity and protect the firm from sanctions with policies and procedures that are designed to meet regulatory requirements around the world. We also strive to maintain cooperative relationships with governmental policy makers and the regulatory and self-regulatory agencies that govern the firms businesses.
Non-Financial Risk Organization Overview:
The second- line Non-Financial Risk NFR organization includes the Compliance Global Financial Crimes and Operational Risk departments and provides a single comprehensive and consistent second-line view of these non-financial risks. Non-Financial Risk encompasses risks which are not financial in nature and could have a potential economic reputational regulatory financial reporting or client impact from (i) failed or inadequate processes data or controls; ii) infrastructure or environmental factors; or iii) intentional or inadvertent actions of employees or external parties. The second-line NFR organization partners with the first-line business units to advise train manage report identify analyze and escalate non-financial risks.
Team Overview:
The Privacy Non-Financial Risk (NFR) team acts as a Second Line of Defense to support the whole Firm and promotes fair transparent and lawful practices related to the processing of Personally Identifiable Information (PII).
The Privacy NFR team forms part of the wider Data Governance and AI NFR team.
What will you be doing
> Overseeing the development of global tooling by internal technology teams or vendors
> Engaging and managing a range of stakeholders including soliciting feedback and articulating their business requirements
> Project managing requirements for changes including enhancements needed due to regulatory or business changes.
> Fostering continuous improvement and acting as a day-to-day point of contact for business unit and LCD stakeholders as it relates to tool functionality or performance.
> Working with business unit and Legal and Compliance stakeholders to consider new processing activities.
What were looking for:
> Experience with building or maintaining and/or experience testing tools/systems
> Experience of acting as a Business Analyst or translating concepts into business requirements
> Experience managing competing priorities and knowledge of project development life cycle and methodologies e.g. Agile
> Excellent written and verbal communication skills incl. stakeholder management
> Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Desirable Skills:
> Financial services industry experience preferred
> Experience with privacy vendors and tools such as BigID or OneTrust a plus
> Understanding of global privacy regulations including GDPR CPRA Quebecs Law 25 and/or experience conducting privacy impact assessments or managing individual rights requests a plus
> IAPP certifications a plus (e.g. CIPP CIPM CIPT AI Governance)
> At least 6 years relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role
