Job Description

Title: Regulatory Controllers: P4 (Director/VP)

The primary role of Regulatory Governance as part of the Regulatory Controllers department is to act as a first line of defense for Regulatory Reporting ensuring that risks issues and control deficiencies which impact the production of accurate and timely regulatory reports to the regulators are identified reported and resolved. This team sits within the wider Regulatory Controllers team who are responsible for producing the periodic regulatory reports as well as providing capital/leverage analysis to senior management and business units.

Were seeking someone to join our Regulatory Governance team as a Director in Global Corporate Controllers and Planning to act as a first line of defense for Regulatory Reporting ensuring that risks issues and control deficiencies which impact the production of accurate and timely regulatory reports to the regulators are identified reported and resolved.

In the Finance division we act as a partner to business units around the globe by providing management review analysis and advisory services of the Firms financial and capital resources. This is a Director/VP level position within the RECRUITER to add standard JA Job Family Description based on Job Profile

What youll do in the role:
>Partner with Regulatory Controller Functional teams and Regulatory projects/IT teams to ensure prioritization of resources around regulatory compliance and evolving reg agenda issues documentation and further improve the BAU process/methodology and reporting to senior management
>Collaborate with partners in Finance and across the Firm to ensure short- medium- and long-term milestones are achieved supporting the direct delivery of governance and compliance agenda
>Lead the investigation and remediation of compliance and process related issues through business analysis and regulatory knowledge thereby reducing the risk profile for the group
>Be responsible for compliance related self-assessments and present summaries to regulatory reporting management
>Produce and present materials to regulatory management to communicate Governance activity key issues and risks.
>Co-ordinate produce and review responses to regulatory requests such as auditor and regulator requests
>Proactively identify and communicate risks and contribute to strategies for mitigating them through the Risks and Controls Self-Assessment framework
>Act as a culture carrier; embody and set an example of the Firms values and hold yourself and others accountable to Firm standards What youll bring to the role:
>Advanced knowledge across European regulations and regulators and experience of assessing compliance with regulatory requirements
>Ability to work independently and identify strategies to mitigate risks
>Clear concise communication skills with the ability to provide transparency to various levels of management
>Ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources decompose high-level information into details summarize detailed or low-level information to a general understanding and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
>Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group including executives managers and subject matter experts.
>Excellent relationship building skills with the ability to collaborate and build consensus
>Proficiency in MS Office Applications with experience at preparing PowerPoint presentations suitable for Senior Management/ Regulator meetings
