Job Role:Targeted Support Worker
Salary: 25235 per year
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Contract type: Fixed term contract until 31st March 2026
Location: Somerset East & Somerset mainly Frome & Shepton Mallet
Additional information:
- Valid drivers license and access to a car for business purposes
- Participation in an out-of-hours on-call rota
- Participation in a rostered system of working with shifts between the hours of 08:00 AM and 20:00 PM
- Primarily Monday to Friday with weekend availability required on a rotational basis
The Role:
Were looking for a compassionate and proactive Targeted Support Worker to support individuals who have experienced rough this rewarding role youll work closely with a small caseload of up to 10 clients helping them overcome barriers and maintain stable tenancies across a range of local projects.
Youll build strong trusting relationships with clients offering tailored advice and support to help them thrive. This is a team-based role that includes some evening and weekend work as well as participation in our on-call service.

What Youll Be Doing:
- Conduct needs and risk assessments
- Implement support plans and provide effective support and advice
- Keeping client records accurate clear and up to date
- Advise and assist clients with budgeting
- Creating a safe supportive and empowering environment that promotes personal growth and sustainable move-on
Since job descriptions cannot be exhaustive the post holder may be required to undertake other duties which are broadly in line with the above key responsibilities
What Were Looking For:
- Experience working with people who may have complex needs and/or challenging behaviours
- Valid drivers license and access to own vehicle business insurance will be required for roles involving travel for work
