Job Description

Position: Critical Care Advanced Practice Provider (APP) - Nocturnist

Location: Naples Florida

Schedule: Full-time Nights/Weekends/Holidays as required 7pm-7am; 7 days on 7 days off rotation

Overview:

Join a dynamic patient-centered Critical Care team in the heart of beautiful Naples FL. Naples is a coastal paradise known for its world-class beaches vibrant community and exceptional quality of life. We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to deliver high-acuity care in our Intensive Care Units alongside a multidisciplinary team of intensivists nurses and other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive evidence-based care to critically ill patients in medical surgical and cardiac ICUs
  • Perform bedside procedures (based on credentialing and experience) interpret diagnostic tests and manage complex ventilator and hemodynamic support
  • Collaborate closely with attending intensivists and consultants for timely and effective patient management
  • Participate in multidisciplinary rounds family discussions and rapid response/code blue scenarios
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives clinical education and protocol development

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
  • National certification as an NP (ACNP or AGACNP preferred) or PA-C
  • Current Florida license (or eligibility) and BLS/ACLS certification
  • Minimum 1 2 years of Critical Care or hospital-based experience preferred
  • Strong critical thinking procedural skills and communication abilities
