Shift: 12 HR Nights 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)
Essential Functions: - Perform comprehensive nursing assessments to identify patient and family needs.
- Develop implement and regularly evaluate individualized care plans.
- Modify care strategies to achieve optimal outcomes in coordination with families and healthcare teams.
- Establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with patients and families demonstrating empathy professionalism and respect.
- Educate patients families nursing staff and community members to support informed health decisions.
- Assess and document educational needs and progress throughout the care continuum.
- Collaborate with interprofessional teams to coordinate and deliver safe efficient care.
- Delegate nursing tasks responsibly and ensure proper follow-up.
- Apply evidence-based problem-solving strategies in clinical and interpersonal situations.
- Recognize personal and professional limitations while prioritizing patient safety and care quality.
- Participate in team initiatives contribute to peer development and support community outreach efforts.

- Understanding of state and local nursing laws regulations and ethics.
- Familiarity with hospital operations and clinical guidelines.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and knowledge of health promotion disease management and medications.

- Effective interpersonal skills to work with diverse populations.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office EMR systems email and scheduling tools.
Qualifications: - Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Texas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
