Job Description

Position: State Lead Specialist
Location: Indianapolis IN 46204
Client: State of Indiana
Duration: 12 Months

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated professional to monitor and support children with elevated blood lead levels in a designated region of Indiana. This role involves collaboration with local health departments and state staff to address lead issues effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Track elevated blood lead level (EBLL) cases and ensure timely case management.
  • Collaborate with health department staff and case surveillance personnel.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and underlying risk factors in assigned counties.
  • Provide technical assistance on lead code changes and emerging issues.
  • Conduct periodic family outreach for retesting and home visits.

Required Skills:

  • Knowledge of lead regulations and healthy homes (specifically 410 IAC 29).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and communication tools.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple cases across various counties.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Understanding of lead exposure impacts on family health.
