Position: State Lead Specialist
Location: Indianapolis IN 46204
Client: State of Indiana
Duration: 12 Months
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated professional to monitor and support children with elevated blood lead levels in a designated region of Indiana. This role involves collaboration with local health departments and state staff to address lead issues effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Track elevated blood lead level (EBLL) cases and ensure timely case management.
- Collaborate with health department staff and case surveillance personnel.
- Analyze data to identify trends and underlying risk factors in assigned counties.
- Provide technical assistance on lead code changes and emerging issues.
- Conduct periodic family outreach for retesting and home visits.
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of lead regulations and healthy homes (specifically 410 IAC 29).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and communication tools.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple cases across various counties.
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Understanding of lead exposure impacts on family health.
