Role Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural vision for data solutions and services across the organization.
- Design enterprise-level data architecture frameworks that support business objectives.
- Oversee the implementation of data governance policies and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data integration strategies.
- Ensure data quality consistency and security across all platforms.
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies to enhance data capabilities.
- Develop and maintain data lifecycle management processes.
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement to align data initiatives with business needs.
- Guide the team in adopting agile methodologies for project delivery.
- Monitor industry trends and best practices to inform architectural strategies.
- Provide mentorship and leadership to data professionals within the organization.
- Present architectural designs roadmaps and updates to executive leadership.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for data architecture processes.
- Collaborate with IT security teams to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Support business development efforts by providing technical expertise.
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in data architecture or enterprise architecture.
- Proven experience in leading data-driven projects in a hybrid or remote environment.
- Strong knowledge of data management frameworks and governance standards.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud.
- Proficiency in data modeling tools and databases (e.g. SQL NoSQL).
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to communicate complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with Agile project management methodologies.
- Familiarity with machine learning and big data technologies is a plus.
- Certifications in data architecture or related fields are preferred.
- Experience with enterprise integration patterns and data pipelines.
- Strong understanding of data privacy regulations and compliance requirements.
- Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies.
