This position is a temporary 18-month contract full-time role with the potential for extension at the end of the contract. There will be an occasional need for evening & weekend work. Travel is not regular but there will be projects that require field travel as needed. This position is Edmonton based and required regular in office attendance.
Reporting to the Continuous Improvement Manager as the Process Analyst you will be a participant in the planning implementation management and sustainment of operational improvement projects. You will use your knowledge of both frontline operations and business systems to analyze communicate and validate requirements for processes to ensure all operational contractual and financial reporting needs are achieved.
As a process analyst you will be working with a wide variety of stakeholders ranging anywhere from frontline staff up to executive leadership teams. The format of the meetings can include:
Facilitating training sessions for systems process changes or new processes.
Leading requirements gathering meetings.
Sharing project updates with stakeholders.
Supporting Change management
A key role of the process analyst is to drive projects to ensure they stay on track and are completed on time. This means regular communication with stakeholders and regular updates with project teams.
Additional tasks that form the day-to-day work of a process analyst:
Documenting processes
Creating training guides.
Brainstorming on potential solutions to problems and creating a business case for them.
Assisting operations teams with the tools & processes they use
