Boeing Defense Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manufacturing Operations Analyst Workplace Coach to support the Argon ST team in Smithfield PA

This role will be critical in an effort to reduce rework improve first pass quality promote safety and initiate process improvements across numerous programs at multiple sites. This opportunity involves collaborating with teams to enhance operational effectiveness and drive strategic initiatives that strengthen the companys competitiveness and long-term resilience. This role will partner with leadership to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices while facilitating training and development of employees to enhance capabilities. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are crucial as well as experience in training and employee development and a proactive approach to problem-solving and innovation.

Position Responsibilities:

• Applies manufacturing and assembly experience in one or more of these areas; complex electronic systems wire harness assembly and electronic boxes and chassis performance improvement and problem solving in support of the Boeing Production System.
• Analyzes and interprets performance and quality data to identify and mitigate the impact of changes on the production system. (e.g. TIPWEB or TIPQA CORRS ANDON)
• Conducts assessments of processes and practices analyzes and interprets data for improvement opportunities
• Provides feedback on assessment results and finds opportunities for improvement and potential areas of risk
• Analyzes processes and supports Boeing Production System problem solving develop and document innovative solutions in support of area Q.C.D.S.M. goals.
• Assist Manufacturing & Quality managers & team leads with Structured On the Job Training (SOJT) plan.
• Program/job specific advanced skills training- Supports training and coaching solutions to improve employee performance.
• Work Place Coaching- Provide Subject Matter Experts for specific Manufacturing & Quality Skills/Disciplines.
• Provides instruction positive modeling and opportunities for observation in order to help team members employees.
• Encourages questions to ensure understanding. When coaching gives timely appropriate feedback on performance.
• Reinforces efforts and progress.
• Clarifies expected behaviors knowledge and level of proficiency by seeking and giving information and checking for understanding.
• Establishes good interpersonal relationships by helping team members and internal employees feel valued appreciated and included in discussions.
• Exerts some influence on the overall objectives and long-range goals of the organization.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 10 years experience working in an Aerospace or Manufacturing environment

• 5 years of experience and proficiency reading and interpreting blueprints drawings and templates
• 5 years experience with IPC 620
• 5 years experience working with J-STD-001

• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint SharePoint)
• Experience teaching a technical subject matter in an adult learning environment

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelors degree or higher
• Experience as a mentor or coach in a work environment

Additional Information:

• This position will require travel up to 25% of the time to Lemont Furnace PA and Fairfax VA

• This position will be primarily 1st shift but must be willing to work 2nd shift if required for employee development
