Position Summary:
Cerity Partners is seeking a talented and bright individual with the highest level of personal integrity to join our Finance Team as an AR this role you will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment to prepare execute and manage various cash application functions. The ideal candidate must be highly self-motivated have impeccable attention to detail and communication skills as well as proven analytical and financial experience.
Primary Responsibilities
Ensure timely and accurate application of payments
Research complex cash application items to ensure cash is applied to the proper invoices
Communicate with our offices across the country to problem-solve answer questions and assist as needed
Develop strong relationships with the Billing team Operations team and broader organization to collaborate and improve processes
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in accounting finance or business
2 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable role
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience working in financial services or professional services
Experience with Sage Intacct
Knowledge of GAAP (generally accepted accounting principles in the U.S.)
Skills and Competencies:
Ability to multitask prioritize and organize efficiently
Strong professional communication skills
Critical attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite specifically Excel
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
