Talent Renew is currently hiring a Family Lawyer for a well-established and highly regarded Ontario-based law firm. This is a fully remote position open to candidates located anywhere within Ontario.
Were seeking a confident and experienced lawyer who can manage family law files independently from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Ontario family law a client-focused mindset and the ability to thrive in a remote work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Handle family law matters including separation divorce custody support and property division
- Draft legal documents including pleadings affidavits and financial statements
- Attend virtual court hearings conferences and mediations as needed
- Provide clear legal advice and maintain regular client communication
- Manage files independently while collaborating remotely with support staff as required
Qualifications:
- Licensed to practice law in Ontario (in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario)
- Minimum of 3 years experience in family law
- Strong drafting and legal research skills
- Experience with Ontario family law court procedures and forms
- Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely
