What this opportunity involves:
JLL is seeking an experienced Senior Finance Manager to join our Property Asset Management (PAM) team working with the Lendlease Industrial portfolio based in Melbourne. This pivotal role requires a finance professional who can operate with a high degree of independence while delivering exceptional financial reporting and support to property owners.
An overview of the role:
Direct and manage the delivery of comprehensive financial and management reports to property owners
Coordinate the preparation of quarterly Asset Plans monthly reporting and annual budgets and forecasts
Develop effective accounting controls and procedures while ensuring tax and audit compliance
Review and authorise accounts payable ensuring accurate coding and proper financial controls
Prepare detailed monthly financial reports including general ledger reviews GST reporting and revenue recognition
Lead the quarterly Asset Planning process including organising pre-forecast meetings and delivering Asset Plan Packs
Manage annual property budgets outgoings estimates and reconciliations
Support valuation processes and special projects as required
Sound like you This is what were looking for:
Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or related field (MBA CFA or CPA highly desirable)
Minimum 5 years experience in financial reporting within property management or real estate
Strong skills in Microsoft Office particularly Excel
Experience with MRI/MRI SP accounting systems (beneficial)
Exceptional communication skills and ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
Demonstrated ability to prioritise work and operate independently
A positive approach to meeting client needs while managing tenant expectations
