Rancho BioSciences (Rancho) is an all-remote provider of biomedical data curation data engineering and data science tech-enabled services to the pharma and biotech end markets primarily in drug discovery and translational research. Rancho provides end-to-end solutions across data curation data engineering data mining and data analysis / bioinformatics to help customers harmonize disparate biomedical data sets to accelerate and improve R&D processes delivered by a highly credentialed team of scientists data experts and engineers. Rancho leverages internally developed tools and accelerators using AI natural language and MML technology to make its work more efficient. Rancho has also recently invested in the development of a consulting practice to further drive strategic relationships at our customers and this practice has already become revenue generating and will also generate incremental revenue for the rest of Rancho.
Vice President SALES
The Vice President of Sales will be a member of Ranchos Executive Leadership Team and be responsible for driving organic growth across the company with the entire sales team reporting to this role. Charged with developing and implementing the go-to-market strategy in alignment with the companys overall vision and strategy the VP will ensure seamless collaboration between commercial and subject matter experts to drive the achievement of the organizations financial goals.
Today the company is at an early stage of growth/development we are looking for an individual who can operate in a largely standalone fashion. The individual must bring a solid entrepreneurial mindset and a track record of growing companies in a similar scale to Rancho to be successful especially in an environment with minimal infrastructure.
The roles near-term focus will be to build up the sales pipeline and improve coverage in part through new introductions to more senior executive (VPs and above) at top pharma and biotech companies mapping decision makers building a playbook of case studies and developing an account-centric strategy. There will also be a near-term expectation to grow the team to support these efforts.
Candidates should bring deep subject matter expertise in sales best practices as well as domain expertise in the relevant biopharmaceutical customer segments we will be serving including research preclinical clinical and post-approval / real world.
