Are you passionate about health safety and environmental sustainability Hitachi Energy is seeking an HSE Specialist to join our team and help eliminate or reduce occupational health production safety environmental and fire risks within our company this role youll ensure compliance with national and company HSE requirements and contribute to the normal operation of the company. Youll work in a dynamic and supportive environment where your expertise will drive our commitment to safety and integrity. Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations procedures and guidelines.
How Youll Make an Impact
Act as a coach and advisor to the supervision team on HSE management.
Ensure compliance with local state and federal HSE regulations.
Maintain and execute HSE management systems conduct inspections and audits and manage corrective actions.
Oversee incident reporting investigation and analysis programs.
Analyze and monitor trends in incidents inspections audits and corrective measures.
Develop and implement various HSE programs and procedures.
Promote employee and supervisor awareness and safe behaviors.
Assist in HSE strategic planning and risk mitigation.
Your Background
Bachelors degree in Engineering Chemistry Environmental or Occupational Health Sciences.
Minimum 2 years of relevant HSE experience preferably in manufacturing.
Strong leadership interpersonal and influencing skills.
Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and plant-specific software systems.
