You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailAs Director - Aromatics Research & Analysis you will lead market analysis and provide coverage of the Aromatics markets across the Americas - benzene/pygas toluene and mixed xylenes. You will support all Aromatics-related Advisory Services and play a key part in strategic insights and client engagement. You will travel within the Americas frequently and to other regions occasionally. You will report to the Executive Director - Research & Analysis.

Deliver timely high-quality written analysis and forecasts including weekly and monthly reports for Aromatics Market Advisory Services as well as annual contributions to the World Analysis: Benzene/Pygas
Maintain and enhance supply/demand models update capacity databases as well as produce and maintain quarterly supply/demand balances
Collaborate with the global aromatics team to review and refine long-term balances for use in published analyses and bespoke consulting
Develop and maintain economic models to evaluate production cash costs and margins
Build robust and defensible short- and long-term price and margin forecasts
Support and grow client relationships increasing visibility and influence within client organizations
Proactively promote Market Advisory and World Analysis Services to achieve annual subscription growth targets
Integrate sales outreach into client visits and cultivate relationships within key industry associations
Deliver market presentations at client meetings industry conferences and Chemical Market Analytics events
Support the Bespoke Consulting Group on client-specific projects as needed
Mentor and develop junior Research Analysts in the North America region
10 years extensive technical and commercial experience in petrochemicals with a strong focus on aromatics (benzene toluene xylenes)
Deep knowledge of market dynamics and commercial drivers
A robust network of industry contacts in production conversion or distribution
Extensive experience presenting and speaking to varied audiences
Experience working within a global cross-functional team
Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering (preferred) technical or commercial discipline -OR- equivalent work experience
