Job Description
The Patient Care Tech
- Assists with patient care in the clinical areas of the facility.
- Cleans stretchers between procedures to include removal of trash and dirty linens.
- Supplies and restocks items in PACU.
- Takes vital signs as directed by RN
- Transports patients per wheelchair upon discharge their vehicle.
- Assists in gather equipment needed for the Pre or Post Op areas.
- Keeps clinical areas free of clutter.
- Assists with unpacking and putting away supplies.
- Performs other job functions as needed.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- One year patient care experience preferably in a hospital setting.
- Prior patient care tech experience required.
- CNA training perferred.
REQUIRED LICENSURE AND CERTIFICATION:
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification.
