Job Description
The Lube Technician at Ira Ford Saco is responsible for providing exceptional service and maintenance to our customers vehicles. As a skilled individual contributor the Lube Technician will play a vital role in maintaining the high standards of our dealership and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance services on vehicles including oil changes tire rotations and filter replacements
- Check and refill fluids such as coolant transmission and brake fluids
- Inspect and replace worn or damaged belts and hoses
- Conduct multi-point inspections to identify potential issues with vehicles
- Communicate any recommended or necessary repairs to customers
- Keep accurate records of all services and repairs performed
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with other technicians and service advisors to ensure efficient and timely service for customers
- Continuously strive to improve skills and stay updated on industry advancements and best practices
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a lube technician or similar role in the automotive industry preferred
- Knowledge of basic automotive systems and maintenance procedures
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
