Job Description

Job Description Summary
The Senior Audio Visual Technician serves as the colleges lead technical expert for the installation maintenance and support of classroom and event audiovisual systems. This role ensures reliable high-quality AV experience for instructional delivery college events and day-to-day operations. The Senior Technician is responsible for overseeing complex AV projects supporting high-profile hybrid and in-person events and managing AV system upgrades and integrations using Extron Crestron Zoom Microsoft Teams and other college-supported technologies.

Minimum Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High school diploma GED or equivalent required. Minimum 6 years of experience supporting analog and digital AV technology solutions in an educational corporate or institutional setting. Associates degree in information technology audiovisual technology or a related field is preferred and may substitute for 2 years of required experience. Hands-on experience supporting virtual and hybrid environments using Zoom and Microsoft Teams. Extron Certified AV Associate or other Extron certifications preferred.
