Guest Services Associate

POSITION SUMMARY

The Guest Services Associate at Finley Farms is responsible for providing an excellent guest experience in daily transactions activities planned events and all guest interactions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• 20% Complete sales and guest transactions at retail outlets events and activities while providing excellent customer service in all interactions.
• 20% Support retail inventory process while ensuring cleanliness within activity and retail areas.
• 10% Manage sales transactions and follow all cash handling and accounting guidelines.

• 10% Anticipate and follow up promptly on guest requirements and ensure questions and concerns are addressed. Resolve all incidents of guest dissatisfaction.
• 10% Have thorough knowledge of the history prices dates times and descriptions of the latest events activities and outlet offerings at Finley Farms.

• 10% Always represent Finley Farms in a positive friendly professional manner.
• 10% Support set-up execution and break-down of private events attractions and activities.
• 10% Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Prior related guest services experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact professionalism and diplomacy.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Organization and follow-through on all commitments.
• Desire to be continuously learning and self-starting.
• Demonstrated initiative ability to think work and make decisions to solve guest concerns based on sound judgment.

Minimum Degree Required: N/A

Experience:Guest services experience highly preferred. Hospitality and/or general office experience preferred.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITY:

Organization- The ability to stay organized prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Adaptable to Change-Must be willing to change priorities quickly and accept new direction.

Writing- Communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience.

Intermediate Computer Skills- Using basic computer hardware and software (e.g. personal computers word processing software Internet browsers etc.). The ability to quickly master new software.

Reading Comprehension- Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.

Oral Comprehension- The ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.

Number Facility- The ability to add subtract multiply or divide quickly and correctly.

Analytical/Critical Thinking- The ability to gather and organize information using a logical and systematic process; recognize patterns and relationships in complex data; examine data to identify implications problems and draw appropriate conclusions; generate alternative solutions to problems; evaluate strengths weaknesses and consequences of alternative solutions and approaches to solving problems.

Customer and Personal Service- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
