About the College
The Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (ACEM) is a not-for-profit organisation responsible for the training assessment and continuing professional development of emergency physicians as well as the advancement of professional standards in emergency medicine in Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand.

The Position
We have a great opportunity to take up an exciting role within our enthusiastic Training Services team and wider Education and Training department!
In this role you will oversee the administration and customer service function of the Colleges training programs and the Training Unit through supporting team members to provide high levels of service to College training program stakeholders maintain accurate records and provide quality and concise advice to stakeholders relating to the training program administration and registration.
Reporting to the Manager Training Services this role will:
Provide leadership for assigned Training Unit team members including supporting and developing team members and conducting annual performance reviews to ensure efficient and effective performance.
Collaborate with other Coordinators to oversee and coordinate team members workflow tasks and management of responses to enquiries from stakeholders and supervisors and respond to escalated enquiries relating to the training programs.
Provide administrative support process support and oversee the preparation of accurate and timely assessment data and assessment outcomes to enable College entities to discharge their duties such as the Trainee Progression Review Subcommittee and Trainee Progression Review Panels.
Contribute to the development of content and delivery of training program workshops for internal and external stakeholders.
Lead the administrative processes relating to the appointment and performance monitoring of training program stakeholders.
Develop monitor and manage processes procedures and systems that ensure accuracy and quality assurance of trainee records and audits and the efficient and effective delivery of training programs.
Contribute to the development and updating of policies procedures the ACEM website handbooks newsletters reports to relevant College entities and other training related communication.
Skills and Attributes
To be successful in this role you will require the following skills and attributes:
Experience with managing workflows record keeping and stakeholder engagement within a customer service environment preferably within the education or training sectors.
Demonstrable strong administrative skills and commitment to a high-quality service-driven culture in a compliance focussed environment.
Strong planning and organisation skills with a high attention to detail.
Highly developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills including the ability to negotiate effectively and previous experience producing high-quality written materials including reports procedures and communications.
Demonstrated skills analysing information evaluating risks and making sound judgements with a continuous improvement mindset.
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in IT and data analysis especially utilising Microsoft Office and database systems.
Demonstrated ability to deal discretely and manage sensitive and confidential information.
A team player with initiative maturity and sensitivity who thrives in autonomous and collaborative environments alike.
