A challenging Administrative Assistant position supporting a dynamic team of experienced tax professionals working in the Tax Division of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
This role is an opportunity to support accountants and other tax professionals who serve unique clients around the world. The position responsibilities include a wide variety of administrative tasks and are dynamic in nature so there is always something new to learn and new opportunities for growth.If youre someone who can work under minimal supervision and can take initiative to accomplish work that needs to be done you will love this position.

Typical responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Supporting the Division leaders with a wide range of tasks including scheduling budgeting planning and communication
Proactively anticipating future needs and making recommendations
Assisting project teams by coordinating project details and following up on pending needs to ensure that deadlines are met
Prepare memos documents reports spreadsheets (including charts and graphs) and presentations primarily using Microsoft Office products.
Using computer apps and software to schedule meetings and appointments and maintain calendars
Managing email in-boxes and routing communications to the correct party
Making travel arrangements
Supporting office resiliency operations and response (emergency response)
Planning organizing and executing large meetings conferences and other events
Providing office front desk reception services and answering complex telephone and email requests
Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent
4 years administrative or related experience
Comprehensive administrative support working knowledge
Key Skills include the ability to:
Communicate professionally in writing and verbally.
Utilize Microsoft Office and other software at an advanced level to schedule appointments create and perform analysis on spreadsheets prepare presentations take notes and minutes and create and update word documents.
Provide advanced research analytical and data summation support.
Proactively anticipate needs and think strategically
Take standard processes and procedures and adapt to address complex problems and find less obvious solutions
Problem solve and resolve complex conflict and problems through sound decision making
Organize and prioritize work and needs
Coordinate projects and events effectively
Operate and maintain standard office equipment.
Interact and work with others in a productive and professional way.
Work with discretion confidentiality and integrity
Train mentor and lead the work of others
To successfully perform the essential functions of the job there may be physical requirements which need to be met such as sitting for long periods of time moving about the office to deliver mail and other items and using computer monitors/equipment.
Preferred:
Bachelors Degree
Broad knowledge of the organizations structure functions and key personnel
