Job Description
Why Patients Need You
This position reports directly to the Finance Lead of Pfizer CentreOne (PC1) and is responsible for helping support the broader PC1 Finance team in providing financial operational and strategic leadership to PC1. The colleague will also provide finance support to and routinely interact with various stakeholders including but not limited to PC1 business partners PGS Controllers and Digital.

How You Will Achieve It
This position supports the PC1 Finance team and broader organization across several main areas. Key activities include:
Leading the creation and consolidation of commercial budgets forecasts and reporting that is timely reliable focused and relevant for decision making for the business segments API Development Services and Business Development activity.
Monitoring and proactively managing related business performance e.g. through creation and delivery of ad-hoc reports and preparing financial projections / analyses; identifying trends/opportunities and recommendations for action and maintaining a register of relevant Risks and Opportunities.
Completing month-end close process including monthly accruals journal entries reconciliations and various audit controls ensuring compliance with all fiduciary responsibilities and finance policies
Leading simplification / automation initiatives and driving other financial process improvements to support the changing needs of the organization
Manage PC1 Hierarchies and Databases in GM Lighthouse SAP and SFDC
Approve API product pricing for new and existing customers based on market criteria
Manage PC1 Operating Expense financials and reporting including Budgeting and Forecasting management of key reporting structures monthly analysis of spend and ad hoc reporting
Supporting various ad-hoc projects as required
Related to the API segment of the business this role also has responsibility for PC1 relevant activities in PGS Kalamazoo US09 akin to a Site Finance Lead:
- Reconcile Finance Produce Workflow in SAP as new SKUs are created in Kalamazoo and complete the migration to US09 accurately
- Conduct reviews on various product variances to standard such as material usage variances price-purchase variances inventory variances US06/US09 variances
- Manage SKU database and lead annual SAP Cost Set Up in US09 with GMX as well as performing cost validation exercises as variances arise
- Conduct Monthly Balance Sheet and Distressed Inventory reviews for US09
Qualifications
Must-Have
Applicant must have a bachelors degree with 0 years of experience; OR an associates degree with 4 years of experience; OR a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 6 years of relevant experience
Strong oral and written communication skills including the ability to develop effective presentation materials
Strong financial and analytical skills
Ability to problem solve and resolve issues across multiple disciplines
Ability to manage multiple tasks / competing priorities effectively and strong time management skills
Self-starter who brings energy enthusiasm and a positive attitude to responsibilities and projects
Strong interpersonal skills; team player who has the ability to establish positive and productive working relationships within and across groups
Excellent attention to detail
Continuous improvement mindset

Secondment 6 months
