Third in Charge Up toHours per week Level 3 Early Years

Theyre now seeking an experienced and motivated Third in Charge to join the senior team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone whos ready to lead inspire others and play a key role in shaping a positive child-centred setting.

What Were Looking For

  • A Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience as a Room Leader or Deputy Manager
  • A sound understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding responsibilities
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • A caring professional and team-focused approach
  • A desire to develop your career in a setting that supports growth and learning

What Youll Be Doing

Working alongside the Nursery Manager and Deputy the Third in Charge will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the nursery. Youll lead by example support the team and contribute to a high-quality early years experience for every child.

  • Supporting the management team in daily operations and staff supervision
  • Leading a room and inspiring your team to deliver child-led high-quality learning
  • Promoting a safe nurturing and inclusive environment for children and staff
  • Building strong relationships with children families and colleagues
  • Upholding safeguarding practices and EYFS standards across the setting
  • Stepping up in the absence of the Deputy or Nursery Manager as needed
