Hourly Pay Range: $25 - $35/hr
Potential Shifts: Day 6AM - 6PM / Night 6PM - 6AM. Rotating 2-2-3 pattern.
Responsibilities
When your actions lead to success:
- Initiates purchase orders for parts and supplies.
- Records all maintenance performed for each machine in written English in the maintenance log.
- Maintains and assembles spare parts inventory.
- Trouble shoots all equipment mechanical and electrical.
- Diagnoses and replaces faulty/mechanical hydraulic and pneumatic components.
- Measures cuts threads air water and gas piping.
- Installs new auxiliary equipment on all production machines.
- Cuts welds and fabricates structural equipment.
- Diagnoses equipment failure to determine the root cause.
- Sets up and operates lathe drill press grinder and other metal working tools to make repair parts.
- Observes functioning of installed equipment or system to detect hazards and need for adjustments relocation or replacement.
- Pulls wiring through conduits.
- Measures cuts bends threads assembles and installs electrical conduit.
- Connects power supply wires to machines and equipment and connects cables and wires between machine and equipment.
Qualifications
When your expertise drives us:
- Proficient with PLCs Drives and Schematics is a must (for 1st shift position).
- Proficient with test instruments.
- Good mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Skilled in usage of all common hand and power tools.
- Proficiency with IBM compatible computer.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on maintenance experience.
- Proficiency in basic mechanical maintenance and repair procedures.
- Good communication skills in the English language (reading writing listening and speaking).
- Completion of 9th grade level mathematics; proficiency in basic mathematics calculations.
