Job Description
As a Straightener Operator youll be responsible for operating and maintaining straightening machines to ensure the production of high-quality metal products. This is a full-time temporary role.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate straightening machines per production specs
- Inspect raw materials and finished products for defects
- Monitor and adjust machine settings to maintain product quality
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and resolve production problems
- Maintain accurate production records and logs
- Perform routine machine maintenance
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Follow all safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with straightening machines preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read blueprints and production specs
- Basic math and measuring tool proficiency
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Physically able to stand bend and lift up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime
