Job Description
Position: Physical Therapist (PT)
Location: Correctional Facility Corcoran California
Pay Rate: $69.25 to $71.25 per hour
Schedule: Part-time contract for 6 to 9 months eligible for extension
- Fridays only
- 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM (10-hour shift with a 30-minute break)
Requirements
- A minimum of 12 continuous months of direct patient care experience within the last 3 years in a public or private healthcare facility
- Valid California Physical Therapy license (hard copy required)
- Valid government-issued photo ID (Drivers License or Passport)
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Demonstrated and current clinical competencies

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Physical Therapy services in compliance with CDCR institutional policies and evidence-based practices
- Provide treatment to patients upon physician referral and written order
- Render therapy services through direct access when a documented diagnosis exists
- Ensure all treatments and documentation meet clinical and institutional standards
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe coordinated patient care
