Mechanic / Mechanical Assembler / Valve Technician required to join a precision manufacturing company based near San Diego CA.
Mechanic / Mechanical Assembler / Valve Technician will be responsible for the mechanical assembly inspection testing and calibration of advanced fuel control valves and flow metering systems for use in gas engine and turbine applications. The role includes working with electromechanical components pneumatic systems and embedded control electronics.
This is a hands-on role in a low-volume high-precision production environment supporting the build and validation of industry-leading fuel metering products. Work is performed to tight tolerances and quality standards with support from engineering and production control teams.

Mechanic / Mechanical Assembler / Valve Technician Role:
Assemble precision fuel control valves venturi systems actuator components and flow metering assemblies
Perform functional testing and calibration of valves using flow benches and electronic controllers
Support electronics integration including sensor alignment harnessing and control modules
Document inspection steps calibration results and QA/QC checks
Perform precision measurements using calipers micrometers and indicators
Read and interpret mechanical drawings wiring diagrams and assembly documentation
Follow ISO quality standards and internal manufacturing procedures
Assist with final product testing including leak testing signal validation and flow verification
Mechanic / Mechanical Assembler / Valve Technician Requirements:
310 years of mechanical assembly or technician experience in valves fuel systems pneumatics or control instrumentation
Experience using mechanical measuring tools: calipers micrometers gauges
Basic understanding of electromechanical systems (solenoids sensors PCB integration)
Ability to read blueprints wiring diagrams and technical schematics
Experience with gas engine systems or industrial valve calibration is a plus
