Data Center Networks Team is responsible for the development operations maintenance life cycle management and capacity planning of Datacenter network infrastructures. The team is in Infrastructure and Data unit which is developing maintaining and operating our Datacenters IT infrastructure and internal platforms (private cloud integration). It plays a key role in delivering production quality and customer experience for continued growth in Telia Company.
As a Senior Network Engineer
You will be responsible for overseeing the technical design architecture development maintenance and operation of cloud-ready data center networks. Youll work closely with engineering and development teams within the Infrastructure and Data unit to build common cloud and compute infrastructure. You will utilize automation frameworks and tools for network programming as well as collaborating with developers and IT teams to integrate and automate network infrastructure and services.
You will ensure seamless integration of both public and private cloud infrastructure with data center networks and maintain a highly available scalable and reliable network while monitoring performance forecasting capacity needs and managing the network lifecycle. Additionally you will evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the network and cloud infrastructure.
Who were looking for...
Someone proficient in network operating systems including Cisco ACI IOS IOS XR and NXOS and demonstrated experience working in complex large-scale data center environments. Strong expertise in routing switching and network security is essential.
Experience with Cisco switches and routers including software and hardware upgrades patching and troubleshooting. Proven ability to deliver both high-level and low-level network design particularly within data center environments is also needed.
The position also requires familiarity with network programming and automation tools such as Python Terraform. Knowledge of one or more cloud platforms (such as AWS Azure GCP).

(Monthly salary range for this position: 4200 - 6400 EUR before tax deduction. This range is applicable for candidates based in Lithuania).
