Job Description

Salary Range: $72966.40 To $112257.60 Annually

The successful candidate should possess the following experience knowledge and competencies:
  • Thorough working knowledge of all aspects of Facility Maintenance including standard municipal services service levels annual maintenance schedules educational programs and modernized service delivery opportunities in the context of climate change and evolving community expectations.
  • Experience with Building Automation HVAC operations life safety and facility security.
  • Strong Mechanical aptitude and understanding of building systems and related equipment.
  • Experienced in researching writing and implementing standard operating procedures and other requirements of a modernized administrative decision making framework and facilitating staff training and scheduling.
  • Ability to liaise effectively with management colleagues staff the public user groups and outside agencies to achieve collective goals while managing expectations within approved service levels.
  • Demonstrated supervisory leadership and team-building skills in a unionized environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and proficiency with related computer software applications.
  • Competent within the meaning of the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
  • Extensive knowledge of the Ministry of Labour Regulations.
