The Opportunity
Fixed Term Contract until June 2026
Were looking for aData Scientist (AI & Analytics) consultant to join our team and contribute to the development of intelligent data-driven solutions. This role blends traditional data science techniques with AI.
Youll be involved in everything from sourcing and preparing data to building predictive models and deploying AI-powered applications. If you enjoy working with data to uncover insights solve complex problems and drive innovation this role is for you.
What Youll Do
- Data Integration & Preparation: Source acquire cleanse and transform data from internal and external sources to make it fit for purpose.
- Statistical & Mathematical Modelling: Apply techniques from statistics probability and mathematics to build robust models and validate hypotheses.
- AI & Machine Learning: Develop and refine models using supervised unsupervised and deep learning techniques for tasks such as forecasting classification and recommendation.
- Advanced Analytics: Use techniques such as text mining pattern matching semantic analysis sentiment analysis network and cluster analysis multivariate statistics graph analysis and simulation.
- Exploratory Analysis: Investigate datasets to assess their potential formulate hypotheses and explore insights using analytics sandboxes.
- Model Lifecycle Management: Train validate monitor and evolve models over time to ensure relevance and accuracy.
- Problem Solving: Investigate business challenges and assess the usefulness of data science solutions anticipating risks and implications.
- Collaboration & Communication: Work with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions and communicate findings clearly.
What Youll Be Working On
- Building predictive and real-time models to support decision-making and create business value.
- Supporting AI initiatives including generative AI NLP and computer vision.
- Contributing to the development evaluation and deployment of scalable data science solutions.
What Youll Bring
- Proficiency in Python or R with experience in libraries such as pandas scikit-learn TensorFlow PyTorch or Hugging Face.
- Strong foundation in statistics probability and mathematical modelling.
- Experience with SQL and cloud platforms (Azure AWS GCP).
- Familiarity with MLOps practices and model deployment.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities.
