Job Description
Responsibilities
The Datarunner project is currently seeking a Test Engineer to assist in manual and automated testing for the Datarunner application as well as the application deployed within the Apache NiFi Java dataflow application. The Test Engineer will perform software installation / configuration in a Linux environment and have experience with automated CI/CD.
Experience working in an Agile development environment performing CI/CD
Experience installing configuring and testing complex Java applications
Experience in test engineering or integration of modern hardware/software systems
Experience with technologies such as; GitLab REST API Docker MongoDB Mongo Compass ElasticSearch AWS and ContainerYard
Experience in the development and implementation of test strategies plans traceability matrices procedures and reports
Experience in writing test cases and writing discrepancy reports
Experience working with Atlassian tools Jira Confluence
Experience with Apache NiFi Dataflow and Mission data formats
Experience with Linux command line and writing test scripts
Experience in using Automation tools
Qualifications
- Ten (10) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope type and complexity is required.
- Bachelors degree in System Engineering Computer Science Information Systems
Engineering Science Engineering Management or related discipline from an accredited college or
university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelors
degree - Active TS/SCI clearance with current polygraph required.
