Responsibilities
Join our urgent care team in Sioux City providing high-quality compassionate healthcare to patients with non-life-threatening conditions. As an RN youll play a critical role in patient triage assessment treatment and care coordination ensuring our community receives efficient and effective care.
Triage and assess patients promptly
Administer medications and start IVs
- Rooming vitals and review of appointment
Perform EKGs phlebotomy and rapid tests
Assist with procedures (wound care splinting I&D etc.)
Monitor and report changes in patient condition
Educate patients on discharge instructions and medications
Document care accurately in the EMR
Support and oversee support staff as needed
Manage clinical phone triage when applicable
Maintain a clean stocked and compliant clinic environment
Qualifications
- RN or LPN License to Practice State of Iowa.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong communication interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) and medical office software.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinic environment and prioritize tasks.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) / Mandatory Reporter.
