We are expanding at warp speed and are adding to our team from our sales office and shop floor locations to our remote online team members. We are a diverse creative and passionate crew who is always looking to discover and implement fresh innovative ideas and make some pretty amazing things.
JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for the coordination of timely and accurate shipping and receiving of finished products and production materials. Ensures that we are in possession of complete and accurate documents related to materials and finished products being shipped or stored. Picks products according to pick list then assemble and/or packages picked items.
Monitor current inventory levels and maintain accurate records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) of all inventory arriving stored and departing the warehouse.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepares all skids and cartons for scheduled shipments including labeling skid or carton preparation and shipment record keeping.
Moves materials from storage shelves to appropriate quick pick and pack
Checks the accuracy of all shipping documents. Traces lost or delayed shipments; initiates claims for loss or damage.
Gathers and maintains all data and records relative to shipping activities.
Ensures that shipping counts match packing documents. Ensures proper labels and tickets have been applied before shipping.
Assists in resolving any discrepancies.
Directs and oversees the pallet inventories and shipping materials
Maintains good security habits at dock doors.
Assists in loading and unloading trucks when necessary.
Operates forklift as needed
Receiving duties include confirming counts to bill of lading (BOL) and entering into warehouse management system.
Make transactional moves in the warehouse management tool to maintain inventory accuracy.
Work on Fulfillment/Pick-n-Pack lines as needed.
Back up quality control at Fulfillment facility.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Basic computer skills
Ability to safely operate forklift pallet jack picker stretch wrapper and similar equipment.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of supplies equipment and/or services ordering and inventory control.
Ability to reconcile stock counts to report data.
Strong problem-solving skills in order to assist in resolving inventory discrepancies
Database management skills.
Ability to receive stock and/or deliver goods.
Clerical word processing and/or office skills.
Must possess strong reading comprehension skills in order to read understand and apply written instructions to set-up
Thorough attention to detail for responsibilities such as checking accuracies of labels and tickets
Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in most units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals
Strong communication skills
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The employee is regularly required use hands and fingers to handle and feel objects (computer and machinery); and talk or hear.
Frequently required to walk.
Required to stand; climb or balance; and stoop kneel crouch or crawl.
Routinely lifts and/or move up to 45 pounds.
Specific vision abilities include close vision distance vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Ability to sit and use computer 2-4 hours per day.
