Summary
This Nurse Supervisor position is responsible for the oversight and support of multi-disciplinary teams that may include: Nurse Practitioners Medical Assistants and Administrative Support staff. This position may also supervise other disciplines such as Interpreters and may expand their supervision to other sites and programs. This is an opportunity to lead amazing teams whose passion is to support individuals with limited access or no access to sexual health education and reproductive health care. The Nurse Supervisor will have the overall responsibility for the daily supervision of the team and be a key member of the site leadership team(s) working with Sexual and Reproductive Health Program staff other supervisors and community partners.

To learn more please visit DutiesDirect daily clinical supervision of the staff assigned to different services and programs at the Public Health Centers to include hiring performance evaluations training counseling team building and staff development. Lead program planning implementation coordination compliance and evaluation. Participation in planning implementing and monitoring program budgets. Organization and facilitation of team meetings. Collaboration with community providers to assess the publics needs and develop program goals and objectives in line with community need. Responsible for overall center management during Area Manager absences. Participation in departmental Quality Improvement efforts. Assuring adequate staffing and coverage in collaboration with the float pool supervisor. Assisting patients when complaints or issues arise. Support the SRH Programs referral processes including implementing workflows and monitoring referral processes. Provide back-up supervision and support to other SRH clinic teams and referral coordinators. Provide site-based leadership and support of other programs and teams and attend to safety needs of the location as part of the leadership team. Other duties as assigned.
Experience Qualifications Knowledge Skills
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in nursing science or a graduate level nursing degree of MSN DNP or PhD from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current Washington State license as a Registered Nurse or Multi-State Licensure.
- Documentation of current BLS-CPR for Health Care Providers. CPR/AED HeartSaver courses do not meet this requirement.
- Washington state drivers license.
- Pass background and credentialing.
Work Schedule:This position is a 1.0 FTE fully-benefited Career Service position with a typical work schedule of Monday Friday between 8 a.m. 6 p.m. depending on worksite. May work outside typical days/hours to meet operational needs. This position is not subject to the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and is not overtime eligible.
Work Location:This position supervises teams at our Auburn Public Health and Federal Way Public Health locations. Auburn Public Health is located at 901 Auburn Way N. Auburn WA 98002 and Federal Way Public Health is located atth Pl. S. WA 98003. Travel to other sites will be required as needed to support operations.This posting will be used to fill all needs.
