Job Description

Glazing Service Technician

SALT LAKE CITY UT

FLYNN GROUP OF COMPANIES

$23 /hr DOE

Job Summary

As a Glazing Service technician you will be responsible for completing quality repairs assess damage and perform preventative maintenance for glazing systems and products; including fitting and sealing windows curtain wall glass store-front systems skylights and glass doors for commercial buildings. Candidates must be comfortable with daily physical labor working outdoors from heights and following extensive safety procedures.

Job Responsibilities

Install/repair/replace various commercial glazing systems including curtain walls store-fronts doors hardware glass handrails skylights and more.

Work collaboratively with field crews on various projects

Manage and delegate day-to-day job site operations while enforcing quality control and encourage best practices

Use our mobile app to record document and report repairs/projects

Provide recommendations for additional work or maintenance.

On-call 24/7 availability to respond to emergency repairs (additional compensation staggered schedule)

Follow all safety rules and procedures

Requirements

1 years of installation or repair experience with commercial glazing systems including curtain walls store-fronts doors and hardware

Tech savvy-comfortable using mobile phone apps

Previous experience using fall-restraint equipment and safety gear (PPE)

Able to lift heavy material on a regular basis

Comfortable working from heights & working outdoors year-round

Open to on-call availability

Pass a background check and drug screening

Reliable transportation
