Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate Event Manager with experience in large-scale conference production to provide coverage during a maternity leave. This is a 6-month contract position with potential for extension and/or full-time conversion based on business needs and performance.
This position plays a key role in maintaining ISMGs high standards across Summits and Custom Event experiences. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills a data-driven mindset and a passion for innovation to drive engagement operational efficiency and audience growth.
What Youll Do
- Manage global ISMG Summits and custom events end-to-end ensuring alignment with client goals and measurable outcomes.
- Lead sponsored Executive Boardroom Sessions from recruitment through execution.
- Serve as the primary client liaison ensuring seamless communication and delivery.
- Plan and oversee event logistics: venue booking menu selection seating design shipping coordination and preparation of event materials.
- Source and manage quality vendors for AV staging photography and more.
- Drive audience development by expanding and nurturing our global attendee base.
- Monitor and optimize budgets managing event-related expenses and revenue while meeting cost-saving and ROI targets.
- Manage budgets track ROI and deliver executive reports on event success.
- Stay ahead of industry trends to innovate and elevate ISMGs event strategy.
- 35 years experience managing in-person and virtual events (B2B media or tech preferred).
- Proven success with large-scale or international conference production.
- Experience managing sponsored sessions or executive-level roundtables is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple simultaneous events and priorities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
- Excellent client-facing and vendor management communication skills.
- Budget management and ROI tracking expertise.
- Proficiency in event platforms (Cvent Bizzabo) CRMs and tools like Zoom or ON24.
- Analytical skill able to translate event performance metrics into actionable insights.
- Adaptability in a fast-paced global environment prone to shifting priorities and timelines.
Duration: 6 months with potential to extend or convert full-time
Location: Princeton NJ (on-site MondayFriday)
Compensation: $40 $50/hour (reflecting fair coverage for benefits & PTO)
