Job Description
- Implement and maintain the projects quality plan and procedures.
- Serve as a point of contact between field operations suppliers subcontractors regulatory bodies and clients.
- Ensure construction activities meet applicable codes standards and specifications.
- Perform surveillance and audits of contractor quality control programs.
- Establish and track inspection plans and manage related follow-up actions.
- Coordinate punch list walkdowns and inspections; manage the punch list process.
- Compile and organize QC documentation for final project turnover to the owner.
- Interface with clients and regulatory officials to address quality-related matters.
- Support the development and implementation of project and division quality programs.
- Provide internal and external consultation on quality standards and procedures.
- Enforce compliance with safety ethics performance and quality standards.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and change management efforts.
- May supervise work of others but does not have direct reports.
- 35 years of experience in civil construction preferably with auger pile or pile driving activities.
- Strong understanding of quality control standards and construction best practices.
- Experience interpreting erection drawings and working with construction technology.
- Familiarity with project controls budgeting tools and risk management principles.
- Ability to write clear detailed reports.
- Strong conflict management and coordination skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Degree in Engineering Quality Business or Construction Management or completion of a craft apprenticeship preferred.
- Knowledge of administrative policies procedures and documentation practices.
