Job Description

Main Tasks and responsibilities:

1. Plan and execute rolling cycle counts (daily / weekly / monthly) for the 14000 m warehouse; lead a 3-5-person count team to maintain inventory accuracy 99.95 %.

2. Investigate root-cause and document variances arising from inbound outbound internal transfers and returns; carry out corrective adjustments in a timely manner.

3. Operate SAP and WMS to post goods movements block/unblock stock generate count documents and post variances in real-time ensuring physical-system-finance alignment.

4. Produce daily KPI dashboards (accuracy variance value); provide weekly/monthly inventory health level reports to Warehouse Manager and Finance.

5. Comply with and enforce BYDs internal management regulations and assist Finance Legal Audit and any other personnel appointed by BYD senior leadership to conduct inventory counts compliance inspections and corrective actions.

6. Regularly output improvement plans for inventory counting processes inventory management and system-related operational processes.

7. Train new hires and count-team members on system operation counting techniques and safety standards; maintain competency matrix.

    Ideal candidate profile:

    1. 3 years inventory managing/ counting experience in automotive spare-parts or high-SKU warehouses incl. 1 years leading a team of 3.

    2. College diploma or above in Logistics Accounting Supply Chain or related; CILT(UK) Level 3 or equivalent preferred.

    3. Proficient in SAP WM/EWM and mainstream WMS; advanced Excel skills and Power BI skills for inventory analytics.

    4. Solid knowledge of UK HSE ISO 9001 IATF 16949 and warehouse internal controls; familiarity with ADR dangerous-goods labelling and segregation.

    5. Strong communication coordination and on-the-ground problem-solving skills; able to communicate in English with a multicultural workforce.
