Who are we
Spryng is an ambitious and accessible company founded in 2006 and based in the heart of Amsterdam. As an SMS provider for the business market we provide our services worldwide to companies in all possible sectors enabling them to reach their customers easily and efficiently. SMS That may not sound very sexy but dont swipe left on us yet.
Because we dont just sell SMS we sell a solution to communication challenges. Our clients (from KLM and DHL to the bicycle repair shop on the corner) experience process optimisation cost and time savings and even an increase in turnover by using our services. Think of delivery updates for your packages a reminder for your doctors visit or a verification code to securely log into your banking apps.
Tasks
What will you be doing
Interns at Spryng are integral team members not just coffee makers or copy makers.
- Gain hands-on experience in Business Financial Management
- Support the preparation and analysis of budgets
- Assist with monthly quarterly and annual financial reporting
- Help with processing invoices expense reports and other financial documents
- Participate in financial data entry and reconciliation tasks
- Support ad hoc financial analysis for different departments or projects
- Work with Excel ERP systems (e.g. Netsuite) and financial tools
- Help improve and document financial workflows or processes
Requirements
Who are we looking for
If youre eager to grow contribute and help us keep our financial operations accurate and insightful wed love to have you on board!
- You are a student and enrolled at a Dutch learning institution studying Finance Accounting Business Economics or a related field (Bachelors or Masters) and have a valid work authorization for the EU
- You are fluent in English (spoken & written); Dutch is a plus but not required
- You are organized diligent and have a problem-solving mindset
- You are proactive and willing to work independently in a fast paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude
- Knowledge of IFRS and Dutch GAAP and solid understanding of finance and P&L statements.
- Have experience working with MS Excel and Google Sheets
- Are available for at least 6 months ideally from October 2025 to March 2026
Bonus points if you have:
- Exposure to finance platforms like Netsuite Stripe Adyen or similar.
